Scotland's finest violin entertainer, Karen Hunter studied at the prestigious Douglas Academy and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music in Glasgow. As a performer she is equally comfortable, whether in theatre, concert, cabaret or entertaining delegates at large International Congresses. Her superb musicianship and unique style of presentation make her an instant success with audiences of all nationalities.
Her music ranges from traditional Scottish to classical and everything in between. She appears regularly in Germany, Norway, USA, Canada and throughout the United Kingdom.
The choice of album title was made, in fact, by her audiences because the most frequently heard comment after one of her performances is that Karen is indeed 'Something Special'.
